Chinese Laundry at the Yosemite History Center
The Chinese have an enduring yet virtually unrecognized legacy in Yosemite Mariposa County and California. Their achievements include building rugged Sierra Nevada roads and a chef whose cuisine was so memorable that a mountain in Yosemite is named after him. This legacy can be explored at the Chinese Laundry Building, part of the renamed Yosemite History Center which aims to tell the multi-ethnic history of Yosemite National Park.
