Tucked away on its own bend along the stream, perched under a grove of black oaks, the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort has a magical feel. This unique resort is located only 26 miles downstream from Yosemite Valley. Just take California’s scenic, open-all-year route, State Highway 140, which follows the merry waters of the Merced River.

The Bug offers a relaxed and social atmosphere where families, backpackers, and international travelers all find welcome and a variety of affordable accommodations with unmatched hospitality. Go glamping in insulated tent cabins. Choose the energy of a youth hostel dormitory, or relax in your own space in private rooms or your own vacation rental cabin.

After a fun-filled day in the park, grab a bite at the June Bug Cafe so your body is refueled and ready for tomorrow’s adventure. Or, make use of the newly renovated guest kitchen with three cook stations and a dining area.

“The Bug” also has five spaces for meetings that cater to various needs, which makes it a great place for reunions, seminars, retreats, and small weddings.
