Camping & RV

Yosemite National Park and its surrounding communities and gateways have numerous campgrounds that are able to accommodate anything from RVs and trailers, to family and group tents. If you’re planning to spend the night in your RV, you need to be in a designated campsite.

Please note: Yosemite campgrounds that require reservations are usually full from around April through September. Make your reservations as EARLY as possible. There are hookups available in Yosemite, near Wawona Campground (summer only), and near Tuolumne Meadows Campground (summer only).

Camping is a great (and popular) way of spending the night in Yosemite. For campgrounds that accept reservations, expect to find sites filling up with reservations from April through September.
