The Narrow Gauge Inn is a delightul old fashioned inn reminiscent of turn of the century charm. Situated high on a Sierra mountainside overlooking Mt. Raymond and the lovely Lewis Creek Valley, comfortable lodging and fine dining awaits our guests. We are just four miles from Yosemite's South entrance and the Mariposa Grove of the Giant Sequoias. Our 25 rooms offer majestic mountain views, private decks, and old fashioned charm to ensure your stay is memorable and relaxing.
Note: pool, spa & restaurant are closed from late October until mid April.

The grounds offer a heated swimming pool, a bubbling hot tub and creekside nature trails surrounded by towering oak and pine trees featuring alpine splendor. A short stroll takes you to our neighbor, the historic Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad, for a scenic railroad excursion aboard a restored turn of the century steam locomotive. The long lonesome and lingering whistle of the nearby steam trains recall memories and visions of a very special and unhurried past.

Directions:
If you are coming from the Los Angeles area, head north on Interstate 5 north toward Bakersfield. Continue on Hwy 99 north toward Fresno. In Fresno, take Highway 41 north toward Yosemite. The Narrow Gauge Inn is about 8 miles past the town of Oakhurst. We are on the right side of the road. Coming from the San Francisco area - See additional directions on our website.
