Whether you’re a professional art critic, or just enjoy looking at photos and artistic pieces, Yosemite National Park offers an authentic art gallery that features work from local and regional artists in a variety of mediums.
The Ansel Adams Gallery features the work of contemporary photographer Ansel Adams, and other local artists as well. Located in Yosemite Village next to the Visitor Center, this Yosemite art gallery is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Some regular activities that the gallery hosts include:
Fine Print Viewing (Saturdays at 3 p.m.)
Glenn Crosby, art curator, offers a one-hour introduction to fine art photography. Visitors young and old are invited to join as Crosby teaches and displays some of the basics of this timeless hobby. While the event is limited to five people, signups must be made at the gallery, in person.
Camera Walks (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 9 a.m.)
Visitors are welcomed to join one of our staff photographers for a free camera walk through Yosemite Valley!
